Hello! My name is Saba.
I was born in Iran and grew up in Tehran until the age of 23. From an early age, I was drawn to photography and the arts.
In 2021, I began my journey in photography, taking courses and developing my practice before moving to France.
While in Iran, I worked as a photographer’s assistant in an architecture firm and contributed to several documentary photography projects. During that time, I was exploring my artistic direction and focused more on learning and experimentation than on commercial work.
Over time, I realized that photography was more than just a hobby for me, which led me to pursue it more seriously and relocate to France. I first spent six months in the south of France studying the language, then moved to Paris to continue my academic journey.
For me, photography is a form of storytelling. I am particularly interested in human connections and capturing the stories of individuals through my lens.

Je suis née et j’ai grandi en Iran où j’ai étudié la biologie et les sciences au lycée, avant de commencer des études universitaires en gestion commerciale. L’appareil photo faisant partie intégrante de ma vie depuis l’enfance, en 2022, je décide de reprendre des études dans ce domaine tout en travaillant comme assistante photographe sur des projets cinématographiques et au sein d’une agence d’architecture. En 2025, j’arrive en France pour me professionnaliser et intègre l’Efet Photo (Paris) en formation intensive d’une année. Ma pratique est variée, du
portrait de studio au reportage. Je travaille aussi bien en numérique qu’en argentique noir et blanc pour son rapport au temps et aux émotions.
